Courage Growth Learning Mindset

Are you living up to your potential?

Personal growth to me means that people are on a journey to live up to their potential.

Yesterday I hosted a webinar on personal growth.

It was a fun learning experience talking about personal growth, and I also took the opportunity to introduce a brand-new training I’m planning to record soon.

Personal growth matters to me a lot, so much you know by now. But perhaps you never knew exactly why.

The reason why I became passionate about personal growth was because of my move to the Czech Republic.

I witnessed firsthand how communism kept people small for nearly forty years in this country.

Then I started to work in a company where people never experienced what good leadership was all about.

I saw people not living up to their potential and not being allowed to grow themselves.

I saw the results of an entire generation being treated as inferior human beings, ensuring that nobody would become a threat to the ‘system.’

If you tell someone a thousand times that something is not possible, they will start to believe it in the end.

If you tell someone a thousand times they’re not good enough, they will start to believe it in the end.

That’s how my curiosity got triggered, and I started to learn more and more about learning and personal development.

I’ve never stopped learning ever since.

Not a day goes by that I don’t learn something. Because I make the time to learn and develop myself daily. In the evening, I ask myself whether I made progress.

Learning makes me aware that there’s so much I don’t know, and there are still so many questions to ask.

Learning gives me a different perspective on topics I thought I had mastered.

Learning provides meaning to me.

Learning makes me feel I’m alive.

This reminds me of this quote by Joseph Campbell from his book The power of myth:

“People say that what we’re seeking is a meaning of life. I don’t think this is what we’re really seeking. I think what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive.”

Joseph Campbell

I believe life is too short to go to waste, and I think everyone should get the chance to live to their potential.

I also believe life is here to be enjoyed and feel good about ourselves.

For me, that happens when I’m learning and growing.

Personal growth to me means that people are on a journey to live up to their potential.

Everyone. Including you and me.

I hope I’ll never stop learning, and I hope you won’t either.

That’s why I’m developing this personal growth journey that I will be recording soon.

You have the opportunity to be part of this live (life) experience, which includes ten modules on personal growth, a simple workbook, practical tools and exercises, and three individual coaching sessions with me.

If you want to learn more, the best way is to schedule a thirty-minute Zoom conversation so we can discuss the details. Click the link to schedule.

Don’t waste an opportunity to live up to your potential.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Your turn: when are you most alive?

Do more of what makes you happy!
